Fire Damages McHenry Business

MCHENRY, IL — No one was injured when a blaze broke out at a business in McHenry Wednesday morning.

The McHenry Township Fire Protection District responded to the blaze at Reflections Auto Marine Detailing, which is located in the 5300 block of Fieldstone Way, shortly after 6 a.m., David Harwood, McHenry Township Fire Protection District battalion chief, told Patch in an e-mail response.

When they arrived, firefighters forced their way into the business and put out the fire.

There was no one inside the business at the time of the blaze and no one was injured.

The cause of the blaze remains under investigation but the fire is not considered suspicious in nature. The business is still habitable and a damage estimate is not immediately available, fire officials said.
