Food Truck Festival Planned for September in Woodstock

Over 30 food options will be available at the 3rd Annual Truck Off in Woodstock on Sept. 7.

McHenry County:The people are hangry for more and we have their backs – and their bellies! Duane Blanton Plumbing, in conjunction with McHenry County Living, presents the 3rd Annual Truck Off, 4 p.m.-11 p.m., Saturday, September 7 at McHenry County Fairgrounds in Woodstock, Ill.

Truck Off is a huge tourism draw with an expected 10,000 attendees from all over the region throwing down on 30-plus unique food options (list below). "Our focus is curating a fleet of the highest-rated regional food trucks in an upbeat, family friendly atmosphere," said Erica Burke, president of MCL.

In the spirit of creating the 360 festival experience, attendees are encouraged to stick around for live music and magic; family games and activities; shopping; drinks and more. Pets welcome!

Admission is free starting at 4 p.m., and there is a ticketed VIP hour from 3 p.m.-4 p.m. that includes drinks and other perks. Hours have been extended to 11 p.m.

Truck Off is excited to give back to the Woodstock community with the inclusion of Helping Paws Animal Shelter. Proceeds from alcohol sales will benefit the shelter.
