Virtual Human Race Held This Year In McHenry County
The 11th annual event is supporting over 90 local charities.
Join the 2021 Virtual Human Race Extravaganza. Show your support for over 90 local charities. This year you can walk or run a 1 mile, 5K, or ½ marathon, or do a 9.5-mile bike ride. When you register you choose which charity will receive the proceeds of your event fee. Register now at www.mchumanrace.org. To make it more fun for you we have secured the app RaceJoy. Participants can use the app to track and time their event. The app will even upload your time to our system if you choose.
It may be a virtual event, but we still need you to show up, and be seen. Get your hero on, wear your event shirt and medal, or a creative hero costume. Just be seen on the streets of McHenry County between April 21 to May 9. Go it alone or with a small group of family or friends – anywhere will work. It is a way to say thank you to our local charities.
Everyday our local charities: provide food to vulnerable populations; advocate for abused individuals; create housing solutions; give hope through education and rehabilitation; keep elderly safe in their homes; deliver healthcare to the underinsured; empower people with disabilities; offer programs for children & youth; care for the environment; and foster pets and shelter animals.
