LITH Airport to Host Open House Sunday
A pancake breakfast will also be held Sunday, June 30, at the local airport.
LAKE IN THE HILLS, IL — The airport will be hosting its ninth annual open house on Sunday, June 30. Numerous aircraft will be on display and businesses based at the airport will attend to provide information on the services they offer. Previously known as the annual expo, the name was changed this year to appeal to a wider audience, according to information provided by the village of Lake in the Hills.
In conjunction with this event, the Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 790 will host a pancake breakfast at the airport, which is located at 8397 Pyott Road. Although the open house is free, pancake breakfast tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for kids under the age of 12.
The pancake breakfast will take place from 8 a.m. until noon and the open house will run from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
