1 Critically Injured In Dirt Bike Crash

WOODSTOCK, IL — A person was flown to the hospital Sunday evening with life-threatening injuries after his dirt bike crashed near Woodstock, authorities said.

The collision occurred at about 5:30 p.m. in the 1500 block of Rose Farm Road. First responders found the male in a field about 400 yards from Rose Farm Road with "various life-threatening injuries," according to a news release from the Woodstock Fire/Rescue District.

The person was taken by helicopter to Javon Bea Hospital - Riverside in Rockford, according to the news release.
