Man Sentenced to 38 years for Pornography and Sexual Assault
Judge calls crimes of former Crystal Lake resident , "absolutely reprehensible" and "disgusting.
Jeffrey Vesely, 53, formerly of Crystal Lake was sentenced Thursday to 38 years on two counts of class X predatory criminal sexual assault, one count of aggravated criminal sexual abuse and one count of child pornography, the Chicago Tribune reported.
Vesely, who now lives in Darien, Wis., pleaded guilty in February the counts.
The pornography was found on his computer after he sold it and the buyer found the images.

Vesley was apologetic in court.
“I’m searching myself for answers and I can’t find them,” the Tribune reported Vesely said. “I’m so very sorry for what I’ve done.”

In exchange for Vesely’s guilty plea, the state dropped a predatory criminal sexual assault charge, four counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse and 12 porn-related counts, the Tribune reported.
