This year will be more about costumes centered around popular culture and less about sexy "nurses/cats/policemen," according to the HuffingtonPost. 

According to Google shopping trend data, here is a look at some of the most popular costume ideas for the 2013 Halloween season: 

Newegg Inc., an e-retailer in the United States, recently announced its top 10 favorite Halloween costumes available on its website. The website offers a wide selection of more than 300,000 costumes, props and decorations, according to a Marketwired press release.
