New Found Glory To Perform At Sideouts Bar In Island Lake
Sideouts Bar in Island Lake will host New Found Glory for an anticipated show on Aug. 16, and tickets are now available.

ISLAND LAKE, IL — New Found Glory will be bringing its dynamic show to Island Lake for an intimate concert at Sideouts Bar on Aug. 16 and tickets are now available.
Formed in 1997, the American rock band rose to fame in the early 2000s with the debut of its hit single "Hit or Miss," which climbed to the top of the U.S. Modern Rock Chart. The group reached the height of their popularity with the release of their third album, "Sticks and Stones," in 2002. The record included chart toppers "My Friends Over You" and "Head on Collision." During this time, New Found Glory headlined the Warped Tour along with Blink 182 and Green Day.
New Found Glory is also known for its unique covers of songs from popular movies. The group released three installments of From the Screen to Your Stereo in 2000, 2007 and 2019. Favorite covers include "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing," "Kiss Me," and finally, "The Power Of Love." The latter is part of the band's latest release, covering the Huey Lewis and the News hit best known from "Back To The Future."

Fans in Island Lake are sure to enjoy a mix of New Found Glory hits spanning the course of their career. Concert goers will be some of the first to hear the latest songs off of "From the Screen to Your Stereo 3," which includes renditions of tunes from "Frozen," "Rocky" and "Twilight." Tickets are now on sale for the show at Sideouts Bar on Aug. 16 at 6:30 p.m. Seats start at $172, and you can save 10 percent by using the promotional code "PatchTickets10" at checkout.
The show offers an opportunity to enjoy music performed by living legacies. In recent years, critics have heralded the band for their influence on contemporary pop punk music. Current touring artists include original members Jordan Pundik as lead singer, bassist Ian Grushka, Ghad Gilbert on lead guitar and drummer Cyrus Bolooki. Additionally, Ryan Key joins on rhythm guitar and keyboards for the current tour.
