New Stormwater Sewer Being Installed In Crystal Lake
The new drain is part of the city's Stormwater Solutions Program.

CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — The city is currently installing a new storm sewer to drain the intersection of Mary Lane and Union Street. The recently-purchased city property will provide stormwater storage in order to mitigate heavy rains that often flood the Mary Lane and Union Street intersection and adjacent front yards.
The new storm sewer is part of the city's Stormwater Solutions Program. The city said it's been making "significant progress" with the program.
