Olympic Gymnast Visits Crystal Lake

Gymnast Aly Raisman, a 2012 Olympic gold medal-winner, spoke to aspiring gymnasts at the Crystal Lake Training Center Saturday, according to the Northwestern Herald. 

“When I was younger, I was always second, third or fourth,” Raisman said, according to the Herald. “I didn’t always win. But I think things happen for a reason. It makes you work harder and harder. Don’t be discouraged because you can’t win every time.”
