Remembering Those We Lost To COVID In McHenry Co.
It's nearly been one year since COVID-19 changed our lives. Help us share the stories of those who've lost their battle with this virus.
MCHENRY COUNTY, IL — In McHenry County, there have now been more than 260 people who have lost their battle with the virus. That number, a small percentage of the county's population, is more than just another stat.
A child lost his mother; a mother lost her child and maybe her own mother, too. A community lost a teacher, a mentor, a student, a coach. The front line lost a nurse, a doctor, an EMT, a hospital orderly.
We all lost some of our heroes.
