Six Flags Hiring 4,000 For Upcoming Season

The theme park in Gurnee as well as water parks in Gurnee and Rockford are expected to open in the coming months.

GURNEE, IL — Six Flags Great America, Hurricane Harbor Chicago and Hurricane Harbor Rockford are planning to hire 4,000 team members for the 2021 season, park officials said this past week.

Among those who will be hired are ride operators, lifeguards and food and beverage team members. Those interested in applying can do so online at sixflagsjobs.com.

Pay rates begin at $11 per hour.

Six Flags Great America is set to reopen on April 24 and Hurricane Harbor will reopen on May 29, park officials recently announced.
