Susan Mandat, 54, of Crystal Lake; Co-Owner of Westlane Bowling Alley

Susan Mandat, 54, of Crystal Lake passed away Jan. 14, 2014, at MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn.

She was born Oct. 31, 1959, in Chicago to James and Adella (Skrabel) Sadlo.

On June 20, 1981, she married Robert Mandat, Jr. in Chicago.

She was the co-owner of Westlane Bowling Alley in Crystal Lake. She was active in the McHenry County USBC and USBC Youth. She enjoyed bowling, fishing, and scrapbooking.

She is survived by her sister, Marilyn Sadlo; her father-in-law, Bob Mandat Sr.; her brothers-in-law, Kenny (Sonya) Mandat and Danny Mandat; her sister-in-law, Theresa (Glenn) Vanek; two nephews, Nick and Matt; one niece, Sara; and numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob, and her parents.

Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 19, at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Route 176, Crystal Lake.

The service will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 20, at the funeral home.

Interment will be in McHenry County Memorial Park, Woodstock.
