Teen Flown To Hospital After Crash in Fox River Grove

FOX RIVER GROVE, IL — A 19-year-old woman was taken by Flight for Life helicopter to a suburban hospital following a one-vehicle crash in a Fox River Grove neighborhood early Friday, authorities said. The Northwest Herald reports the collision occurred at 2:45 a.m. on Friday in the 700 block of Barberry Trail and a preliminary investigation shows a Subaru sedan, driven by a 25-year-old Fox River Grove man, lost control and crashed into a wooden embankment. The teen was a passenger in the vehicle and was taken to Advocate Condell Medical Center with serious injuries.
