TLC Hosts Spring Wildflower Walk in Woodstock May 15

The Land Conservancy of McHenry County (TLC) is hosting a Spring Wildflower Walk on Saturday, May 15 from 9-11:00 a.m.

The Land Conservancy of McHenry County (TLC) is hosting a Spring Wildflower Walk on Saturday, May 15 from 9-11:00 a.m. at Ryders Woods, 750 Kimball Ave. Woodstock. The fee is $5, and participants can register for the walk at ConserveMC.org

At the event, TLC’s restoration ecologist, Megan Oropeza will guide participants through a high-quality woodland, share information about each wildflower and provide identification tips.

Participants will meet in the parking lot at Ryders Woods prior to the event. The group size is limited to 20, so guests are encouraged to register early. Masks are required at this in-person event.

The Land Conservancy of McHenry County is a member-based private nonprofit dedicated to preserving natural, scenic and agricultural land.
