The Crystal Lake Police Department conducted a tobacco compliance check on April 21. Checks were conducted on 36 businesses and 34 of them were in compliance.
Two businesses failed the checks:
- Vapor Hut LLC, 30 North Williams Street, Crystal Lake
- Vapor Place Inc, 119 North Main Street, Crystal Lake.
Both cases will be heard at an Adjudication Hearing to be conducted at the Crystal Lake City Hall on May 8.
