Woman Airlifted After Scooter Crash
The Cary Fire Department responded to the single-vehicle accident.
A 27-year-old female was injured Monday night after a single vehicle crash. The woman was driving a scooter and crashed in the 100 block of Lake Shore Drive, the Cary Fire Department said in a written release.
The Oakwood Hills resident was taken to Advocate Condell Hospital in Libertyville by a Flight for Life.
Cary Fire Department is reporting that the woman is in stable condition. She was not wearing any safety equipment.

The crash, which occurred at 8:58 p.m., is under investigation by the Oakwood Hills Police Department.
