2 Cars Stolen From Homes In Downers Grove: Police

The car thefts were reported within hours of one another.

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Downers Grove police are investigating two car thefts that were reported within hours of one another.

4800 block of Douglas Road

A resident told police that their company truck, a white Ford F250, was stolen from their driveway sometime between 11 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m Tuesday. The resident told police they believe the truck was locked.

5400 block of Blodgett Avenue

A 2014 Chevy Cruze was stolen from a driveway sometime between 3:30 a.m. and 7:03 a.m. Tuesday. The resident told police they couldn't remember if they locked the car or not, but that they had the keys.
