39 New Coronavirus Cases In Past Week In Downers Grove
Since March 2020, Downers Grove has seen 4,112 confirmed coronavirus cases, according to DuPage County Health Department.
DOWNERS GROVE, IL — The number of coronavirus cases in Downers Grove has increased by 39 cases in the past week, according to information from the DuPage County Health Department (DCHD). This week's increase is notably less than last week's, which showed a rise of 58 cases.
As of May 4, the village had reported 4,073 total cases of the new coronavirus. Those numbers had increased to 4,112 as of May 11, reflecting a rise of just under 1 percent. The previous week's increase was just over 1.4 percent.
DCHD recently began sharing the number of probable coronavirus cases in each municipality. Whereas the graph on DCHD's website includes probable cases, using the site's search bar yields a breakdown of probable and confirmed cases.
