Armed Robbery Reported In Downers Grove, Woman Charged: Report

Police say the woman used a 9 mm handgun to steal $120.

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — A Joliet woman has been accused in connection with an armed robbery in Downers Grove, according to Daily Herald.

Victoria G. Montoya, 28, was charged with armed robbery with a firearm in connection with the incident, which took place Friday just after 1 a.m. Police say Montoya used a 9 mm handgun to steal $120.

Montoya is being held in DuPage County Jail on $25,000 bond and is set to appear in court on Feb. 16.
