Cadence Kitchen Owners To Open New Restaurant In Downers Grove
The restaurant, located at the intersection of Maple and Main Street, will feature live music, a raw bar, and craft cocktails.
DOWNERS GROVE, IL — The owners of Cadence Kitchen and Co. will bring a new dining concept to downtown Downers Grove in 2020. The restaurateurs recently announced plans to open The Foxtail Restaurant at the corner of Maple and Main Streets.
At press time, The Foxtail was still in its initial phases, but Patch spoke with its beverage director, who said he couldn't reveal many details, but that the chef-driven concept will spotlight seafood, with a raw bar serving up oysters and other eats. Steaks and burgers will also feature on the dining menu, along with a number of vegetarian options.
The Foxtail's beverage director described its menu of craft cocktails as "intricate." The cocktails will be designed to pair well with featured entrees, as will the restaurant's "immersive wine selection."
