Downers Grove is getting ready for a snowy season, and the village wants its residents to know it's thinking ahead.
In a short video posted on Downers Grove's website and its YouTube channel, the village assures its citizens of its plan to beat the winter blues.
Its multitude of workers will put in 12-hour shifts throughout the winter months, the video states, while they operate 32 snow-removal vehicles. Ten different routes will make sure that plows reach all corners of Downers Grove, and a whopping 7,770 tons of salt is at the ready.
