Carnival Rides, Local Eats, Live Tunes Await At Taste of Westmont

WESTMONT, IL — As Illinois continues to reopen and summer gets into full swing, the 2021 Taste of Westmont is ready to bring Cass Avenue to life with carnival rides, live music and, of course, local cuisine. The festival will run July 8 through July 11 in downtown Westmont.

Food Vendors

Taste of Westmont was canceled in 2020 due to coronavirus, so this year, area food vendors are eager to offer samplings of their cuisine starting Friday, July 9.

Two beer tents will be set up along Cass Avenue, serving beer, margaritas and other refreshments. The south beer tent, located at Cass and Irving, will open Thursday. The main beer tent, between Naperville Road and Norfolk Street on Cass Avenue, will open Friday.

Live Music

Two stages will offer a variety of live music at Taste of Westmont. The south stage, located at Cass and Irving, will open Thursday. Shows on the main stage, located between Naperville Road and Norfolk Street, will kick off Friday.

Carnival Rides and Family Fun

The Taste of Westmont will host a kids and family night Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Carnival ride specials will open for the event, which also features kids activities, a car show, an art show and more.

Carnival and Wristband Specials are as follows:

July 8: $20 all-you-can-ride wristband from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

July 9: Regular ticket pricing from 12 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

July 10: $25 all-you-can-ride wristband from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., regular ticket pricing from 4 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

July 11: $25 all-you-can-ride wristband from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., regular pricing from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., $20 all-you-can-ride wristband from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
