Woodridge, IL—The West Suburban Community Pantry stands ready to assist all families impacted by the tornado which hit Naperville, Woodridge, Lisle and surrounding area with groceries, cleaning supplies, bottled water, pet food, diapers and wipes.  The Pantry has expanded hours dedicated for storm victims needing immediate assistance.

The pantry, located between Naperville and Woodridge at 6809 Hobson Valley Drive, #118, off of Hobson Road and Rt 53, will have expanded service hours for emergency services for neighbors impacted by the storms Monday through Friday from 8:30-5:00 and Saturday 8:30-noon.  Individuals needing additional resources including shelter, clothing, and other support can call the Pantry assistance hotline at 630-512-9921 ext: 0 for referral to other area community resources.

“We realize hundreds of families in our area have been impacted by this storm, and once they are safely sheltered, the next priority is to replace the food they may have lost so they can feed their families.  When this is a hardship or anyone in our community is searching for support, the West Suburban Community Pantry is here to help,” says Executive Director Laura Coyle.

Neighbors wishing to make donations are asked to donate shelf stable foods including canned fruits and vegetables, soup, chili, canned tuna or chicken, boxed dinners, pasta and rice, peanut butter, jelly, bottled water, pet food, diapers, wipe, and cleaning supplies ONLY please. Items must be unused and unopened.  Hours for donations have also been expanded to include hours Monday through Friday from 8:30-5:00 and Saturday from 8:30-noon.
