Charges Dropped In Drug-Induced Homicide Case In Downers Grove

The charges were dropped after a motion to suppress evidence was approved, according to Daily Herald.

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Prosecutors have dropped the charges in a drug-induced homicide case involving the 2018 death of a man from Downers Grove following a motion to suppress evidence, according to Daily Herald.

Gregory Jones had formerly been accused of selling a fatal dose of heroin to Alexander Zabinski, 21, of Downers Grove. Zabinski died on Dec. 21, 2018.

Jones was taken into custody March 2019 and held at DuPage County Jail. Jones was released on Nov. 17.
