• Ruth Elizabeth Farley, age 93, of Downers Grove. One of the founders of the Antiques Division of PEP, now the Red Barn, Farley lived at the Oak Trace Community.
• Brian Thompson McElwain, 53, of Downers Grove, passed away Sept. 26. A celebration of his life will be held at 2 p.m. Oct. 14 at the Unitarian Church of Hinsdale.
• Michael Giovanni Mongello, of Downers Grove, passed away. Memorials can be made to St. Bride Food Pantry.
• Richard N. Pletcher, 86, of Downers Grove; Memorials may be made in his name to Union Church of Hinsdale, or to the Oak Trace Scholarship Fund.
• John F. Tagliapietra, 85, of Downers Grove; Veteran of the U.S. Army.
