DG Park District To Host 'Hoppy Holidays' Virtual Trivia Night

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — The Downers Grove Park District will host a virtual Hoppy Holidays trivia night Dec. 6, challenging participants to flex their knowledge of "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation."

The event will be held via Zoom and will feature a beer tasting hosted by Orange & Brew Bottle Shop. Ugly sweaters or Griswold-themed costumes are encouraged and give participants a chance to win more prizes.

Registration for the Hoppy Holidays trivia night gets you a party pack from Orange & Brew Bottle Shop, 1027 Burlington Ave. The party pack includes Christmas Vacation-themed beer koozies, plates, napkins, coasters and more.

Participants can buy three seasonal brews for an additional $10.

During the beer tasting, Orange & Brew staff will discuss each beer and give a little background, along with information about the brewery of origin and flavor profile. The costume contest will follow, along with trivia questions via the Kahoot app.

Teams can include up to four people and only one team per household may register for this 21-and-over event. Registration for Hoppy Holidays Trivia Night is open through Dec. 1.
