Downers Grove Christmas Tree Recycling Schedule

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Christmas has come and gone, so soon it'll be time to dispose of natural Christmas trees. Residents in Downers Grove can drop their Christmas trees off at one of two local parks or leave trees for curbside pickup on their regular trash collection day starting Jan. 6.

Curbside pickup for Christmas trees runs from Jan. 6 through Jan. 17. To ensure that your tree gets picked up, remove all ornaments, lights, tinsel, and garland and do not place your tree in a bag.

Christmas trees can also be dropped off at McCullom Park, 6801 S. Main St. or Whitlock Park, 4000 Fairview Ave., from Dec. 25 through Jan. 13.
