Downers Grove Coronavirus Update: 159 New Cases In Past Week

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — The number of coronavirus cases in Downers Grove has increased by 159 cases in the past week, according to information from the DuPage County Health Department (DCHD).

As of Jan. 5, the village had reported 2,838 total cases of the new coronavirus. Those numbers had increased to 2,997 as of Jan. 12.

In nearby Westmont, the number of coronavirus cases had increased by 73 cases. As of Jan. 5, there had been 1,539 cases reported in Westmont. The total number of cases reported in Westmont as of Jan. 12 was 1,612.
