Downers Grove Coronavirus Update: Slight Decrease In New Cases
Since March 2020, Downers Grove has seen 3,738 confirmed coronavirus cases, according to DuPage County Health Department.
DOWNERS GROVE, IL — The number of coronavirus cases in Downers Grove has increased by 62 cases in the past week, according to information from the DuPage County Health Department (DCHD). This week's increase has stayed steady compared to last week, which showed a rise of 68 cases.
As of March 23, the village had reported 3,676 total cases of the new coronavirus. Those numbers had increased to 3,738 as of March 30, reflecting a rise of just under 1.7 percent. The previous week's increase was 1.9 percent.
DCHD recently began sharing the number of probable coronavirus cases in each municipality. Whereas the graph on DCHD's website includes probable cases, using the site's search bar yields a breakdown of probable and confirmed cases.

In Downers Grove, there have been 506 probable coronavirus cases. Including probable cases, the total coronavirus case count for Downers Grove is at 4,244.
