Downers Grove North Boys Swim and Dive Team Hosted Trojan Invite
The varsity and fresh/soph teams both placed sixth.

The Downers Grove North Boys Swim and Dive Team hosted the Trojan Invite on January 22 and 23.
Naperville Central’s Varsity team placed first overall followed by Lyons Township in second place. Naperville Central also won the Fresh/Soph competition, with Metea Valley coming in second.

While both the DGN Varsity and Fresh/Soph teams placed sixth, there were several highlights for the Trojans during the meet.
DGN divers continued their winning season with juniors Ryan Murphy and Adan Calleja placing second and fifth in the Varsity 1 meter diving event. Freshman Kevin Sullivan won the Fresh/Soph diving event, setting new meet and team records with a score of 452.35.

The Varsity Trojans Ben Ellstrom, Jack Costello, Matt Benge, and John Pitelka took fourth place in the 200 medley relay event. In the 200 yard freestyle relay, the DGN team of Matt Benge, Ben Ellstrom, Aidan Lyons, and John Pitelka placed fifth.
Sophomore Jack Costello placed sixth in the 100 yard breaststroke.
The DGN Fresh/Soph team of Aistis Sadauskas, Patrick Dietrich, Adam Andrews, and Griffen Liszka placed sixth in the 200 yard medley relay. In the Fresh/Soph 200 yard freestyle relay, Adam Andrews, Jonah Small, Patrick Dietrich, and Aistis Sadauskas placed sixth.
