Downers Grove Park District Closes Recreation Center Gym for Repairs

The gymnasium at the Downers Grove Park District Recreation and Fitness Center will be closed this week for annual maintenance and repairs.

The gym, located at 4500 Belmont Road, will be closed to the public Wednesday through Sunday. The track will be closed Wednesday through Friday while the gym floors are being refinished, officials said. 

Patrons who have a track membership will be allowed to use the Fitness Center during those days.

Residents are encouraged to use the park district's outdoor trails while the gym is closed. Visit www.dgparks.org for a full list of facilities and parks.
