Downers Grove Park District, Midwestern University Host Community Health Fair

The Downers Grove Park District and Midwestern University are teaming up next month to host a free community health fair for area residents.

The fair will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Oct. 5, at the Downers Grove Park District Recreation Center, 4500 Belmont Road.

At the event, residents can receive free flu shots and health screenings for diabetes, high cholesterol, bone density and hypertension. Community members must be 18 years or older to participate in screenings and receive shots.

All services will be administered on a first-come, first-served basis.
