Downers Grove Police Investigating Armed Robbery At 7-Eleven

Two suspects displayed a handgun and demanded money from the store clerk at the 63rd and Main Street store.

On February 28, 2021, at approximately 11:40 p.m., the Downers Grove Police Department responded to a report of an armed robbery at the 7-11 near 63rd and Main Street. Preliminary investigation indicated that two suspects entered the store and demanded money from the store clerk. One of the suspects displayed a handgun. The suspects fled the store with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The first suspect is described as a 5'07" man, heavyset, wearing all black clothing, a surgical mask and armed with a handgun.

The second suspect is described as a tall Black man, with a thin build, wearing all black clothing and a surgical mask.

The Police Department is asking anyone with information about the incident to contact 630-434-5600.
