Downers Grove Public Library To Reopen July 6
The library will have limited hours upon reopening.

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — The Downers Grove Public Library is set to reopen July 6, but will have limited hours and safety restrictions in place to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus.
The library's temporary hours will be as follows:
Monday through Friday: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Saturday: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Sunday: 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

In addition to limited hours, certain library services will not be available upon reopening. These include, but are not limited to, children's play areas, furniture and seating, meeting and study room reservations, notary services and newspapers.
The following safety requirements will be in place:
- Face masks or coverings are required at all times
- Social distancing must be maintained
- No food or drinks will be permitted
- Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult
The library will be fine free through Aug. 2 and no late fees will be accrued for items between April 30 and Aug. 2.
