Downers Grove Runners Finish the Boston Marathon

Downers Grove, IL - Several local runners have accomplished the daunting task of finishing the Boston Marathon.

On Monday, April 18, more than 30,000 runners took off from Hopkinton and traveled 26.2 miles to Boston.

Michael Chico was the fastest Downers Grove runner, with a finish time of 03:19:18, according to unofficial results.

Here are the other Downers Grove runners and their marathon times:

A pair of Ethiopians were crowned 2016 Boston Marathon champions.
