Downers Grove Tops 3K Coronavirus Cases

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — The number of coronavirus cases in Downers Grove has increased by 116 cases in the past week, according to information from the DuPage County Health Department (DCHD).

As of Jan. 12, the village had reported 2,997 total cases of the new coronavirus. Those numbers had increased to 3,113 as of Jan. 19.

In nearby Westmont, the number of coronavirus cases had increased by 53 cases. As of Jan. 12, there had been 1,612 cases reported in Westmont. The total number of cases reported in Westmont as of Jan. 19 was 1,665.
