Downers Grove's Tivoli Theatre Aims To Expand: Report
The theater is looking to add a more intimate 32-seat theater near its current location.
DOWNERS GROVE, IL — The Tivoli Theatre in Downers Grove is planning to expand to a vacant storefront and build a smaller theater, according to Daily Herald. The additional theater would have just 32 seats, but will feature heated, reclining seats and laser projection.
The proposal was presented to village council Tuesday. To move forward, the theater will need a special use permit.
The village council plans to vote on Tivoli Theatre's special use permit Nov. 17.
