Dozens In Downers Grove Still Without Power After Monday's Storms
The storm left more than 420,000 people without power in the Chicago area.
DOWNERS GROVE, IL — At least dozens of ComEd customers in Downers Grove were still without power following Monday's severe weather, according to the utility's outage map. The storm felled trees and caused widespread damage throughout DuPage County.
In a message to residents, Downers Grove Mayor Robert Barnett cautioned against trying to move downed power lines. He suggested using contacting ComEd if you see a downed power line.
Some 420,000 people were without power throughout the Chicago area in the immediate aftermath of Monday's storm.
