Drive-In Movie Night Coming To Downers Grove Park District

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — The Downers Grove Park District will host a drive-in movie night on July 23 in the parking lot of the Downers Grove Golf Club, located at 2420 Haddow Ave. The featured movie, "Ferris Bueller's Day Off," will be shown at 9 p.m.

To attend the drive-in movie, cars must register in advance. The fee is $20 per car for residents and $30 per car for non-residents. Click the link to register for "Ferris Bueller's Day Off".

Those who register will get an email at least 24 hours before the movie designating a spot for them in the parking lot. The parking lot will open at 8:30 p.m. on July 23.

The following safety guidelines will be in place for the drive-in movie:

• Movie-goers must stay in their cars with the windows rolled up (movie sound will be transmitted by FM radio)
• Masks must be worn if windows are rolled down
• Alcohol is prohibited

In the event of high winds or other inclement weather, the movie may be cancelled.
