Flooding Closes Roads In Downers Grove After Heavy Rainfall

DOWNERS GROVE, IL —Heavy rains Sunday evening caused multiple roads to be closed in Downers Grove due to flooding.

At press time, the following roads were closed due to flooding, according to a Tweet from the village of Downers Grove:

• Fairview Avenue in both directions between Maple and Prairie
• 55th Street in both directions between Florence and Lyman
• Highland Avenue at Barneswood
