The Foxtail Restaurant Now Open In Downers Grove
The restaurant, run by the team behind Cadence Kitchen & Co., opened its doors in early March.

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — The Foxtail restaurant is officially open for business. The newest restaurant from the crew behind Cadence Kitchen & Co. opened its doors in early March at 5237 Main St., bringing craft cocktails, raw oysters, fresh seafood and other eats to Downers Grove.
The Foxtail's extensive dinner menu draws inspiration from Middle Eastern cuisine and offers dishes made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Diners can start with the zaatar-dusted flatbread and follow that with a sage-spiced lamb shank agnolotti or Moroccan tagine or choose seared tuna tataki or coastal oysters from The Foxtail's raw menu.
If dinner wasn't a tough enough choice, The Foxtail offers a long list of beer, wine and craft cocktails for diners to sate their palates. The "Ghosted" combines du Peyrat cognac, Cardamaro, apricot and prosecco and the "Besos" mixes Cimarron Reposado tequila and sweet white vermouth with Firebird bitters, peach and orange.
