Fresh Produce, Diapers Available At Food Pantry In Downers Grove

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Immanuel Lutheran Church wants to give back. Their weekly food pantry has been going strong throughout the pandemic, offering fresh produce and other supplies to families each Thursday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at 5211 Carpenter St., Downers Grove.

For their May 6 food pantry, the church will also have diapers available to show their appreciation for moms as Mother's Day approaches. Buckets of cleaning supplies will also be available for pickup.

On May 15, Immanuel Lutheran Church will host a sporting goods sale to benefit Ronald McDonald House and Family Shelter Service. The sale, which will feature "gently used" sports items runs from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
