Games, Bike Safety Fun Awaits At Downers Grove Bike Rodeo
Kids can play with fire hoses, slide down firefighter poles and more at this fun outdoor event.
DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Kids can slide down fire poles, put out a "flame" in a miniature "house" and learn about bike safety at the Downers Grove Muster and Bike Safety Rodeo. The festivities are planned to kick off at Fishel Park at 9 a.m. Saturday.
Kids are welcome to bring their bikes and helmets for a chance to take part in the bike safety rodeo, which will be led by medics from the Downers Grove Fire Department right next door at First Congregational Church.
Some other fun activities include waterball races and a kids' combat challenge.

Fire officials note that the event is free, but there is no rain date.
