Grand Duke's Restaurant Brings European Fare To Downers Grove
The menu features a wide range of eastern European eats, with most of the entrees made from scratch.

DOWNERS GROVE, IL -- Downers Grove residents will soon be able to whet their palates with eastern European cuisine when Grand Duke's Restaurant opens its new location on 75th Street. The restaurant, which will serve up authentic Lithuanian, Bavarian, and Polish fare in the former Bohemian Gardens building, is set to open before Saturday.
Before making the move to its new location at 980 75th St., Grand Duke's was a beloved dining spot in Summit. The Summit location closed in Sept. 2018 and owners began remodeling the Bohemian Gardens building to fit the restaurant's European-inspired aesthetic.
The menu will feature many of the favorite dishes offered in Summit, along with some new items. The chefs make most of the entrees, sauces, side dishes, and other eats from scratch, hoping to evoke the feeling that you're eating a traditional home-cooked European dinner.
