Handmade Ornaments Sought For Downers Grove Holiday Tree

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — The village of Downers Grove is once again seeking handmade ornament donations for its annual holiday tree.

Ornaments must be:

  • At least eight inches in diameter
  • Waterproof
  • Lightweight
  • Free from poky surfaces
  • Equipped with looped string or twine from 10-12 inches long

Ornaments can be turned in to the village's Public Works building at 5101 Walnut Ave. until Friday, Nov. 20. Ornaments will not be returned, village officials said in a news release.
