DOWNERS GROVE, IL — The holiday season has come and gone, which may leave some Downers Grove residents with holiday lights that are no longer usable. Residents can recycle their holiday lights at the village's public works facility through Feb. 19.

To recycle your holiday lights, simply take them to the Public Works Facility at 5101 Walnut Ave. and drop them off in one of the bins outside the main entrance.

Residents are reminded not to put lights in bags or boxes. Only lights should be dropped off in the bins.
