Wallet Taken
A woman just after midnight reported her $70 Vera Bradley wristlet wallet missing on the 7300 block of Northgate Way. The wallet was taken sometime between 6 p.m. April 18 and just before midnight. The woman will sign a complaint if an offender is located.
MONDAY, APRIL 15
iPhone Theft at DGS
A 16-year-old student reported her $200 white iPhone 4 missing while she was at Downers Grove South High School on the 1400 block of Norfolk. She might have left the iPhone in the school library between 8 a.m. and 9:40 a.m. An officer advised the student to tell her mother about the incident and contact her service provider to have them check for any activity.

Burglary at Business
The owner of a business on the 800 block of Ogden Avenue saw the lock cut on his west-side gate. An evidence technician was dispatched to the scene and the cut locks were recovered. There was also a window shattered on one of the trucks at the scene. Police contacted the owners of various vehicles so they can check to see if anything was missing.
SATURDAY, APRIL 13
Paper Towels Poached
A large roll of paper towels valued at $300 was stolen from a business on the 5100 block of Fairview Avenue, according to police.
