Jewelry, Cash Stolen During Burglary At Downers Grove Hotel

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Jewelry, credit cards and cash were stolen during a residential burglary that took place Saturday at Extended Stay, 3150 Finley Rd., Downers Grove.

Police say a man who lives at the hotel told them he left his room at 8 a.m. and locked the door, but returned at around 5 p.m. to find cash, a wallet and other items missing from his nightstand. The resident reported that $350 cash and a men's leather wallet containing photos and credit cards had been stolen. Police say a men's gold necklace valued at $1,000 and a men's gold bracelet valued at $300 had also been stolen.
