Kids Can See Cop Cars, Learn About Safety At Downers Grove Event
The April 6 event will include safety tips from experts and photo ops with emergency vehicles.
DOWNERS GROVE, IL -- Kids will have a chance to see fire trucks, police cars, and other village vehicles up close at the upcoming Passport to Safety and Wheely Big Trucks event in Downers Grove. The free, family-oriented event will be held at Lincoln Center on April 6.
When kids get to the event, they will receive a passport that they have stamped at each interactive activity they explore. Police officers and other local safety experts will be on hand to share safety tips and engage children with fun games and challenges.
Several emergency and construction vehicles will be parked at the scene and waiting for kids to explore them. It's the perfect opportunity for a photo, so be sure to remember your camera.

The Passport to Safety and Wheely Big Trucks event is sponsored by the Village of Downers Grove, the village park district, and Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital.
